SEMRUSH Handy Review : A SEM tool to research keywords
Well with the time since my blog is live on The Web I need a creative and full depth report of Lafandar.org about backlinks, Keyword ranking, in fact, a platform that can do a complete SEO audit of the blog. If you are searching for the same then you are at right place.
I am going to introduce to one tool which I have been using since last two months. This tool is trusted and used by most of the SEO Agencies, the tool named is SEMRUSH.
What's are the pros and cons of SEMRUSH? I will answer below you can decide then you should use SEMRUSH or not.
What is SEMRUSH ?- Complete Review
Let’s see what makes SEMRUSH such an amazing SEO tool & favorite tool of millions of users out there.
SEMRUSH makes it easier to find what keyword your site or any site is ranking for. In short, it makes Keyword research a piece of cake. Once you are done doing Keyword research, you can add Keywords & track its position in all major search engines based on Geographical location.
I emphasized on Geographical location feature, as it’s important for those who target specific countries like Spain, U.K, Australia, India to name a few.
It is an essential SEM (search engine marketing) tool that I believe every serious blogger and internet marketer should have in their SEO tool arsenal.
SEMRUSH is a product from the maker of SEOQuake, a popular SEO addon for Firefox. At the time of the writing of this post, SEMRUSH has more than 46,000,000 domains and more than 120,000,000+ keywords in their database.
SEMRUSH will allow you to find all the keywords for which any existing web page on the Internet is ranking. You can also find more statistical detail regarding that keyword and related keywords which you can rank for. Sound a little confusing? Here is a screenshot which will justify SEMRUSH is essential for all bloggers and serious Internet marketers:
Let me give you an example by showing results from a domain. You can try it for any site, though, and a serious marketer is encouraged to try it with their competitors’ sites. Note that all I need to do is add the domain name at the top, and here is the detail I receive:
Let me explain all the fields of the resulting report page one by one:
Keyword: Keywords for which pages on lafandar.org are getting traffic.
Position: Keyword positions in search engine. In this example, I have selected Google’s US database (default), but you can change it to other locations too. You can also use Free Keyword Monitor for verification.
Volume: Number of exact match queries for that keyword in the local search. In this example I have once again used Google US. This data is taken using the Google Keyword planner tool, and I also verified the accuracy of the data.
CPC: Cost per click for the ad (on average)
URL: Corresponding URL to which that keyword is driving traffic.
Com: How can a search engine marketing tool be complete without a competition check? This shows the competition of advertisers for that keyword. A lower number means less competition and a higher number means greater competition for that term.
Results: Number of search engine results. A lower number here is better.
Trend: This is one column which I find very interesting. In order to find profitable keywords, we need to make sure the traffic trend for that keyword is not dying. This column pulls the uptrend for that keyword for the last 12 months.
In addition to all of the information resulting from our search, look at the left sidebar and you will find the two columns which interest me most as a blogger. You can find the top 200 organic keywords for that domain, and also receive a detailed backlink report for any domain along with the anchor text.
For me, the most interesting factor here is the ability to find the top keywords driving traffic to any domain. For a serious marketer or company, knowing the top competitor’s keywords (SEOpivot) is the holy grail here.
Why should you start using the SEMRUSH tool right away?
As bloggers, we work day and night to write posts to increase traffic to our blog. But what we often do not focus on enough is traffic. If you check your analytics, you will realize that only a couple of your blog posts are contributing the maximum percentage of traffic to your blog. Using the SEMRUSH SEO tool, you can find keywords which are driving traffic to your competitor’s website, and you can write quality content based on those keywords, and get a better position for target keywords in your niche.
SEMRUSH works best with the PRO account (complete report) but for a beginner who is new to search engine marketing research, you can always start with free trial and once you are accustomed to its various features, you can upgrade to a pro account in order to get a complete, detailed analysis of your competitor’s website.
I hope this SEMRUSH review has helped you to understand the power of this awesome search engine marketing tool. Do remember, by the end of the day SEMRUSH is useful for research and analysis, but at the end of the day it’s your hard, smart and quality work which puts you at the top.
Have you used SEMRUSH before? How’s your experience with this tool so far?
